The Meat: Star Wars Timeline & Watch Order
Spoiler Free Order:
There are 220+ titles in the Star Wars Canon that include:
110 books, 79 comics, 12 games, 12 tv series, and 12 movies (plus Galaxy’s Edge and honorable non-canon mention the Star Wars Holiday Special!)
This podcast episode of Mostly Superheroes is a resource to provide a guideline for watching / reading Star Wars titles in the timeline order according to Star Wars canon. The term ‘Star Wars canon’ refers to the collection of Star Wars media considered officially canon by Lucasfilm.
We quickly reveal all canonical titles in this podcast episode and explain where those titles fall in the greater Star Wars story being told from the beginning of time to the very end.
We will focus on the TV and Film as it is what we all experience most, but we will still highlight some book, video games, and reveal the overall Star Wars timeline.
We are by far not the first to do this and we leaned heavily on the following resources to produce this episode. Thank you to these amazing resources for the help:
