Starbucks developed a proprietary unsweetened protein blend that kept clumping—until their team discovered that whipping it into foam creates a perfectly smooth texture. Tasters called it “silky, sweet, and not at all chalky.” The debut flavor is Banana Protein Cold Foam, with chocolate and unflavored versions on the way.
