We’ve reached the end of Season 1 of Atlantis with one hell of a cliffhanger in The Siege Part 2. 

 

This episode is a really good example of what we felt was missing from some of the final episodes of SG1 season 8. Where the military are doing their job but there’s still a feeling that there are emotions being displayed where it’s clear they understand the severity of the situation.

 

All that said, this episode is so intense and they do a really good job of balancing the moments of hope with the moments of despair.
