What starts as a fun romp with Vala visiting an old planet she had ruled over as a goa’uld turns deadly serious as a Prior of the Ori returns in The Powers That Be.

 

This episode starts bringing up an interesting point - can you talk someone out of faith/religious belief through logic and reason? Because, when you get down to it, those two things are diametrically opposed. Faith exists without logic and reason. It just is. So, when the being asking for religious devotion is evil, how do you counteract that?

 

We finally get definitive information as to what exactly is going on with Dr. Lam and General Landry. They’re father and daughter!
