It was a real treat to get the chance to chat with Robin Millar CBE, one of the world's most recognized commercial record producers. With over 55 million sales to his name, Robin shares his journey to success and an array of valuable advice to young music students hoping to make it in the world of commercial music. I loved speaking with Robin and his story is truly fascinating! This episode was recorded October 2020. 

In this episode of Starmakers, I got the opportunity to speak with Jin Jin, hit songwriter. Jin Jin has co-written with some of current music's biggest names: Jess Glynne, Liam Payne, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Little Mix, Madison Beer... The list goes on & on! From an athletic childhood, Dawn followed a different path into music at the age of 19 inspired by her father. This opened up an amazing career for her, sharing the stage with massive artists such as Kylie, CeeLo Green, Rick Astley, and many more! Dawn shares the glamorous and not-so-glamorous sides of the business, and I really got a lot from this conversation focusing on life on stage. Derek has huge experience in the live music industry, and has toured with stars such as Coldplay, Harry Styles, Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith, and many more!
