Good afternoon, welcome to this podcast today I’m going to be talking about the effect of small changes in your work, your business are the things that are a nagging pain for you? They may be little things they may be big things.

Think about that for a moment, and then I’m going to ask you a question. These nagging pain items for you do they happen often or not that often? Create a list of those things just so you have them, what would it feel like for you if those things were fixed. What would change for you in your work process, If those nagging pains were fixed.

The next question I have is what would it take to fix those items, what’s needed? How much time will it take to fix those? What other things you need to put in place to fix those nagging problems?

The first thought I have in dealing with those nagging items is start small, start with the things that you can do quickly and easily, and I got an example for you. In recording this podcast over the years, one of the things that’s been a nagging pain for me is the background noise in the podcast itself that I have to edit out later.

I’ve always wanted to find a solution, I’ve upgraded my equipment several times I have tried different pieces of software. Some work better than others, and recently I made two small changes that made a big difference.

One was I got a windscreen cover for my microphone, and the other change was a simple change in the settings of my recording device that eliminated a significant amount of the noise.

So the key take away here is decide what your pain points are and make small deliberate changes until you find the right combination.
