We all have choices to make every day. What we eat, what we wear, whom we marry, where we’ll go to college, etc. Joshua is discussing choices that the children of Israel will have to face. Joshua is challenging the children of Israel of what they are going to do next. He is wanting them to remember where they had been so they could step in faith for where they were going. He is telling them when they remember the faithfulness let it take them to a place of awe. As a result of this awe and wonder, we ought to walk in obedience living for Him. Let what God has done be what propels us forward to what He is calling us to do. Even as a child of God and follower of Jesus, we believe that God provides everything we need. There is a world telling us the exact opposite. Are you going to run to the world’s ways or run to God? That’s your choice. There are choices that have to be made. What choice will you make?
