"A good name" is very important concept to grasp early on in life. It is saddening when children have NOT been instructed that their decisions represent their family and not merely themselves. Not only does poor decisions cause grief to the parents, it brings a shameful quality to the family name. So too, when parents are careless and selfish in their actions without realizing the ripple effect it has on the entirety of the family unit. A good reputation is in the same ballpark as "divine wisdom"
