Club E will be joined by Chris Guertin to discuss starting a business in a recession.
Maria and Chris Guertin started Sport Resource Group in February 2016 which was widely regarded as one of the toughest economic climates since the Great Depression. In this talk, Chris will share successes and mistakes made while starting a business from scratch in tough economic times.
Chris is hopeful that new and current business owners can learn from his experience of mistakes and successes as they start or run their businesses in 2021.
About Chris:
Chris and Maria Guertin started Sport Resource Group in Feb 2006 just one year before the Great recession of 2007. In many ways, the early years of the business were marked with economic and buying uncertainty just as 2020 was. Chris gave up a successful career in sports and sales and Maria gave up her medical device recruiting career to start Sport Resource Group.
