Starting a podcast is challenge. It takes time, resources, motivation, commitment and a whole bunch of other fleeting virtues that many of us (myself included) find difficult to hold on to. There are costs to buying the equipment and hosting, with no guarantee of a return on your investment. But don't let that put you off! All these hurdles only serve to make podcasting more rewarding when you do it, and the process is much easier than you might think.
