Episode 1 of the Spoon Carving conversations, where I talk to spoon carvers around the world. 

Today's guest is Julian Heins (@feral.spoons). He lives near Hamburg in Germany where I am also currently living. We have carved together once before and will hopefully do so again as we go into spring. He only started out about 9 months ago, but become instantly passionate about creating wooden spoons.

We talk about our favorite spots to carve, how we started out and how spoon carving impacts our view of the world, where we get our wood and much more.
