We have something different this Sunday! For this week’s episode Fr. Joe and Fr. Rix share a conversation about disabilities and mental illness that affect the lives of so many people. Joe shares a story tailing off last week’s episode for Lt. Officer Marco Napolitano where he was able to save the life of a disturbed person who stabbed him with a knife one night. It’s a powerful story about the potential to do the right thing, even when it seems futile.
When we face crises, we’re pushed to the limit, and on both sides of any confrontation, Fathers Joe and Rix discuss both how difficult this can be, as well as a ray of hope in taking a step back and, at the very least, trying to listen and understand.
