Direction “Starting Where I Am”  

“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you."  Psalm 32:8 (NLT)   

1. God’s concern is who I AM and who I’m BECOMING.  

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin…. Zech. 4:10 (NLT)  

God’s will is for you to be holy…1 Thessalonians 4:3a (NLT)   

2.  God’s concern is my HEART and my MOTIVES.   

All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the LORD.  Proverbs 16:2 (NIV)
