On this episode of the Simply Straight Talk Show, your host Reggie Maddox is discussing the "State of the Black Community". There are so many issues facing the black community in which quite a few have risen from our own actions. Today, he is bringing some of the issues to light as well as steps we can take to empower ourselves.
Black/African-Americans have always lived in a world in which they struggled to find acceptance. This was not only from other ethnic groups but also amongst our own people. We were once inspired by leaders within community who's voice echoed along with their presence in very neighborhoods of those that needed inspiration and support in obtaining justice. Those days have long past and the media/self-appointed leaders of today speak of justice but with a long-handled spoon are they reaching out to the Black/African American communities.
Here are some of the topics discussed in today's show.
This show will hopefully create conversation and inspire a race of intelligent men and women to unite for the destruction of there groups but to empower ourselves and the generations to follow us.
