State Senator Julie Morrison. Senator Morrison represents the 29th District, which includes part or all of 22 communities from the Great Lakes Naval Training Station on the north, to Wilmette on the south, and west into Buffalo Grove.

Senator Morrison serves as Majority Whip for the Senate Democratic Caucus.  She also chairs the Health and Human Services committee and sits on the Veterans Affairs, Early Childhood Education, and the Environment and Conservation Committees. She is vice chair of the Appropriations Committee for Health and Human Services

Prior to her election to State Senator, Ms. Morrison served as Supervisor of West Deerfield Township for 15 years.

Senator Morrison was born in Beardstown Illinois and graduated from Knox College and is a resident of Lake Forest.
