The bill clarifies how risk assessment tools should be used by district judges when setting bail in domestic violence cases.

“These tools have proven effective in assessing the likelihood of an abuser reoffending and creating dangerous circumstances for victims,” Senator Bartolotta explains.

The conversation also touches on her work supporting legislation that legalized Uber and Lyft across Pennsylvania, helping to establish fair ground rules that balance the needs of ride-sharing companies, taxi drivers, and medallion holders.

Looking ahead, Senator Bartolotta emphasizes the importance of embracing innovation, advocating for the development of data centers, AI technologies, and energy initiatives in Pennsylvania.
