Jeffrey Madoff, founder of Madoff productions in New York City, joins us on this episode of the Making Bank Podcast! Today, he discusses his incredible entrepreneurial journey from designing t-shirts in Wisconsin to running a NYC production company that collaborates with ad agencies, public relations firms, and directly with clients to produce commercials, live streaming events and branded content and much more. After studying psychology and philosophy in college, Jeffrey worked at a boutique in Wisconsin until an acquaintance called and sparked the idea that he should start a clothing company. Knowing very little about the fashion industry, Jeffrey designed t-shirts, which he sold at the boutique and were all bought on the first day. He launched himself into the clothing industry in a trial by fire, building a successful business in Wisconsin until he moved to New York, where he repeated the process.  

In this episode, Jeffrey challenges the idea that creativity and business are two skill sets that can’t be learned by the same person.  He relays the importance of doing what you love, and how that can keep you going in hard times.
