Disappointing

I pre-order this book and was very excited when it got released on the 8/9/16, however my excitement was short lived. The story was disappointing and nowhere near as good as the rest of the Annie Carter series.

I love the Annie Carter books! Unfortunately Audible don't have the first 5 books in the series.

I'm also a little disappointed with Karen Cass reading it. She just doesn't do Annie Carter justice, she makes Annie sound so vulnerable which Annie is most definitely not. I think Karen does a great Ruby Darke though.

I think Annie Aldington would be a better choice to narrate the Annie Carter books.
