In this chapter of Luke, we witnessed the calling of Simon Peter, James, and John. Simon Peter was deeply amazed and moved by the miracle Jesus performed before their eyes and he, along with his partners, chose to leave everything behind to follow Him.

The healed man left the presence of Jesus glorifying God, and we are called to do the same every time we find ourselves in the presence of God, whether in prayer or contemplation of His power. By doing so, we invite great things to happen in our lives.

Levi also left everything to follow Jesus, recognizing the immense value of following Him instead of living a natural life without His guidance.

Today, I urge you to be filled with awe and wonder for Jesus. He has the power to do incredible things in and through you. We are meant to be captivated by His work and amazing power, as He continues to perform miracles every day. We are connected to Him through our breath, and we should seek to connect our spirits to His.
