In this political season, campaigns are scrambling to win the hearts and minds of voters. To do this, they hope that their message resonates with the public. And if it does, they work feverishly to stay on message in order to win election.

Political messages and messengers come and go. In the end, the answers that we truly need are not found in human wisdom, but in Christ alone. The only message that matters to the believer is the message of the cross of Jesus. By His death, burial, and resurrection He has made a way for us to reconciled to God, and to have life, real life, both here and in eternity. As part of His Church, we must stay on message. The message of His love is all that matters.
