Nikosha Orchard was a teenager when she was swept away by the gritty dangers of punk rock music. Her first taste was when she witnessed 7 Seconds at a record store in the early 90’s. That experience planted the seed, she wanted to start a label, but also knew it was an insane venture (most great ideas are). After years of working in and around the music industry, we flash forward to 2018, where a conversation with a friend, who was in a band, led to the realization that it was time for her to follow her dream (and of course sign her friends band)!

Now we have Radio Cake Records, a badass Indian mom’s DIY label launching delicious music into the ethers.
