Daniel is a politician serving on the Broward County School Board, one of the largest school districts in the United States. He's also been appointed to Florida's Strategic Partnerships for the Brazilian American Coalition and the Public Safety Commission.

However, before venturing into politics, Daniel was a member of a touring band. From band member to school board member 

It would be easy for Daniel not to feel qualified for the Broward County School Board. But he continues to step into the position, driven by a strong call to serve his community.
