Spread across the bed While the mower’s in the shed Gets dustier and rustier Use paving stones instead

Lazy built an empire And then slept through the day Generations greatest gifts Casually thrown away

But fun is what we came for The feelings’ why we stayed We’ll decimate the buffet And likely misbehave

Yonder window sunset Yesterday was better Except for the pain we felt So easy to forget her

Tomorrow could be easy Or is that simply dreaming Came here for the fun But stayed here for the feeling

Today is all okay This is time worth stealing Came here for the fun Stayed here for the feeling
