It's easy to go down the thought process of "Vacation is coming up. I only have two choices: 1. Enjoy myself & eat / drink whatever I want, or 2. Be disciplined & stay in shape, but not have any fun."
In this episode, I talk a bit about how reframing the way we think about vacations can be useful (and make vacations more enjoyable). I also give direct tactics that you can apply to make staying in shape on vacation much easier.
There is a whole segment on alcohol & how to still enjoy your trip without setting yourself way back (hint: 15 Mai Tais is probably a bad idea).
Vacations should be a net positive when it's all said and done, and if we can find a way to go, relax, and come back recharged without feeling like we set ourselves back on progress, that's the way to go.
Enjoy!
