Staying Inbounds - NBA BASKETBALL PODCAST (HOOPS)

The Nets pulled the trigger on some of their young core and acquired superstar James Harden. Questions arose about whether forming a trio of KD, Kyrie, and Harden would work and if these guys could sacrifice. Harden currently leads the league in assists and has made life easier for the other two. In a small sample size, are the Nets the best team in the East? Tune in to hear my perspective!

The Houston Rockets have had more changes than every team in the league from the off-season to current. They changed GM’s, coaching staff, and many of the players. It has definitely been a test for Head Coach Stephen Silas and GM Rafael Stone, but they’ve handled it well. The squad has had a tremendous turnaround since trading star James Harden and have been the best defensive team in the league. The trio of John Wall, Victor Oladipo, and Christian Wood aka W.O.W. have impressed as well in just 3 games together. Tune in to hear my thoughts!

The Clippers had the Nuggets on the brink of elimination being up 3-1. The series is now tied 3-3. The Clippers need to fix their second-half woes to be victorious. Doc also has some adjustments to make, especially on the depth chart. Tune in to hear my perspective!

People are still sleeping on the Miami Heat. I had this team before the playoffs, going deep. It’s a deep team that plays well and hard on both sides of the floor. The versatility Miami has on defense and the arsenal of scoring abilities is second to none. All in all, Miami Heat is still considered an underdog. Tune in to hear my perspective!

There are many players who have improved their games across the board from the preceding season (2018-2019). Are we just looking at the increase in production of stats, the improvement in play, or a combination of both? The finalists selected were Bam Adebayo, Brandon Ingram, & Luka Doncic. My most improved player from this season is most definitely Devonte’ Graham; tune in to hear my perspective!

The Raptors have had a helluva season. They were not projected by any imagination to have not only solidified the second seed in the East, but to still be contenders with Kawhi taking his talents to the Los Angeles Clippers. Tune in to hear my perspective!

Blazers might be considered the most dangerous 8th seed in NBA history. Under the circumstances of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it allowed time for the Blazers to benefit with getting Nurkic & Zach Collins back. The Blazers have played tremendously offensively, while the Lakers have played very poorly in the bubble. I can see an upset happening. Tune in to hear my perspective!

🤔💭 Every team had missed more than 4 months before the resumption of the regular season. These 8 games are vital to seeding for some teams, but also building the best chemistry before the playoffs. The Lakers is shooting the worst & scoring the least out of every team in the bubble. There is no sense of urgency being displayed in its play. The Lakers have never been my selection for the favorite to win it all and that’ll continue to be my opinion. Tune in to hear my perspective!
