  Sometimes staying motivated can be hard to do. No matter what you are trying to accomplish, there are going to be some rough spots along the way. So how can we deal with those seemingly impassable roads and stay motivated at the same time? Some things will depend on what you are trying to accomplish. However, generally speaking, there are several ways to keep yourself motivated. 

1. Keep things fun and engaging.      

     a. No matter the topic, there will be some challenges and will often be boring.      

     b. Try to keep it light and engaging by incorporating other activities.     

     c. Find fun activities that will help ease the burden and replace the boredom. 

2. Milestones and Awards      

     a. If you set easily obtainable goals ...    

          ... when you complete a goal, then reward yourself.      

     b. This can be very motivating, and help you achieve goals even faster. 

3. Finding a Partner or a Group      

     a. Finding someone or even a small group to work with can be very motivating.      

     b. This way you can help each other through the challenging parts.      

     c. Chances are you will have different weaknesses and strengths, this will enable you to help each other and stay motivated. 

4. Learn from Others      

     a. Research and connect with other people who have already achieved what you are trying to do.      

     b. Someone has already traveled the path you are taking, so find out what they did to get there.      

     c. You can glean a lot from someone who has succeeded. And using their hard-earned education to learn from, can be very motivating 


One last tip I will give you is this … 

Sometimes the only thing you need to do to stay motivated, is to write down on a piece of paper what you want to achieve, and then post it some place where you can see it every day.
