Last month, Plateau State, specifically Jos and about three local governments surrounding Jos had been under some kind of curfew since August 14th. The situation quickly escalated to the point where students had to be evacuated from the University of Jos (UniJos).
In this episode, we speak with Esther, a UniJos student who gives a firsthand account of what she experienced in the first 24 hours before she was evacuated.
Note: Esther is not the student’s actual name.
