I first heard Jack when he was on The Sailing in the Mediterranean and beyond podcast with Franz way back when. Jack and another friend of the show, Neil Fletcher, had both gone sailing in the Med with Franz and came on the several episodes to tell us all about it. When they both went out and bought boats and started cruising, they would come on and report back to all of us listeners about what they were getting into when they were "Out There."

I also tackle another safety concern I recently experienced in the intro, breaking down what can happen at anchor when you think everything is just hunky dory, and it all goes sideways.
