Disappointed
The storyline started off very well. Had me pulled in and everything to see how things would turn out. But then, it went downhill from there. Definitely not the ending I was expecting at all - and that's not a good thing. Live Lance Greenfield though. he was the "saving grace" to finishing this book.
Female narrator is almost unbearable
Lance Greenfield was great, but the female was awful. It was hard to even get through the book. Half of the time, I cannot understand what she is saying, she mumbles and whispers and her voice is so whiny and annoying. The story was mediocre. The male character was ultra controlling and the relationship was beyond unhealthy. I get the traumatic past, how it effects the dysfunctional present relationship, but both characters were annoying.
