2 ounce(s) Vegetable Oil1 teaspoon(s) salt1 onion1 scotch bonnet pepper, chopped1 packet(s) Carrot1 packet(s) Callaloo1 teaspoon(s) black pepper2 tomato2 escallion, chopped2 thyme1 tablespoon(s) Butter, unsaltedSteamed Callaloo Directions
In a saute pot over medium flame, add oil and saute onions, hot pepper and carrots.
Saute vegetable for 1 minute then add callaloo, salt and pepper, cover and continue cooking for another 3 minutes.
Add tomato, escallion, thyme and butter, stir, cover and continue cooking for another 3 minutes or until callaloo is tender.
