Monster Train is a card game, deck building, roguelike developed by Shiney Shoe and released on May 21, 2020 on Steam and was later released for XBox on December 17, 2020. A complete edition of the game titled Monster Train First Class was released for Switch on August 19, 2021.

It really was 2020's Slay the Spire. Now if only we could find 2022's Monster Train.
