Creativity breeds innovation, and collaboration between businesses provides unique opportunities to enter into new realms of possibilities outside of our own wheelhouse–and in this case, the barrel house. When our old friends at Asheville Bee Charmer approached us with plans to develop a barrel-aged honey, we knew this concept would be extra sweet. Along with the birth of their Hooch Honey aged in our Steel Horse Whisky barrel, our barrel returned to us with stalactites of leftover honey and a golden opportunity. Our signature Steel Horse Whisky was returned to the barrel and left to blend with the rich Hooch Honey. The result: Steel Horse Honey Whisky, a limited batch release with an un-bee-lievable outcome.
