As the Apostle Paul was nearing the end of his life, he passed the baton of leadership and influence to his protégé, Timothy. The letters of 1 and 2 Timothy are Paul’s parting words, intended to encourage the young disciple. Generations later, these words still inspire God’s people continue growing as disciples and disciplemakers of Jesus.
