Stefan Mumaw is always good with a story. He’s also an amazing presenter – so it’s no shock that he was brought in to do the luncheon keynote at the OnBrand Conference in Omaha – a collaboration of the local AAF, AIGA, AMA, IABC, and PRSA chapters.

After his talk, we sat down (right inside the main doors, in what is usually reserved for the coat check area, but when it’s crazy hot out, that room is not needed…) to discuss, well, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema next door, watching movies, the Halo 3 ad campaign from over a decade ago, his Chasing the Monster Idea book, how to sell a monster idea, creating curiosity and more.

And then we got interrupted by an actual fire in the parking lot…
