It took me a long time to realize that my workplace was my assigned place of ministry. I didn't need to quit my job to go into full-time ministry. That my life as an insurance guy was the life that God had put me into so that I could touch the people around me. At first, I thought it was just a job, and then I realized that these jobs were a means to an incredible end. I needed to see that I was working with God on His mission that He was allowing me to be a part of. It's humbling to realize that God loves me so much that He wants me to be involved with Him in my work and with the people I work with. Not just the people but also the work that I do. God wants to work with me; will you let Him work with you, too?
