In this episode of the Transformed for Life podcast, we’re stepping into Step 5: Change Your Habits. Because transformation isn’t just about knowing the truth (Step 2), redefining your identity in Christ (Step 3), or setting truth-based goals (Step 4); it’s about actually living those truths out in your everyday life.
The habits we choose either strengthen our old patterns or build up the new creation God has called us to be. And the truth is, you can’t step into lasting transformation if your daily rhythms are still rooted in the old self. Change happens when we surrender our routines, our choices, and our desires to God and allow Him to reshape them according to His Word.
But here’s the key to making this really work: habits formed in Christ aren’t about willpower alone. They’re about abiding in Him. When our habits are aligned with His Spirit, they become tools that not only keep us moving toward our goals but also anchor us in obedience, strengthen our faith, and shape us into who God designed us to be.
Whether you joined us on Tuesday night or you’re catching up here, I invite you to listen as we dive deeper into how to put off the old and put on the new, one Spirit-led habit at a time.
