In this episode, we will explore Jonah 1:1-3 and11-17 to learn about Jonah, who God wanted to use to further his mission, but who tried to run away from God. Listeners are encouraged to discuss a time they failed at something and how it made them feel. Families are invited to pray for missionaries who may not feel smart enough or young enough or close enough to God, and yet God has chosen them to be a part of his mission to spread his kingdom.

Listeners are encouraged to discuss what the furthest they’ve been from home is and how long it took them to get there. Families are invited to pray for people who, like Abram, left their homes to spread God’s love.

Listeners are encouraged to discuss what they think it means to be “filled” with the Holy Spirit. Families are invited to pray for Carpenters for Christ, an organization in Tegucigalpa, Honduras dedicated to restoring the dignity of communities in need by building homes, offering medical aid, and spreading the Gospel of Christ.

The Xep family runs an organization dedicated to educating and empowering youth to acquire the skills necessary to achieve their dreams and support their families' flourishing.
