Stephanie Summerville knows first-hand what it's like to be hit by the wave of uncertainty that came with COVID, and she's not only survived, but she's learned how to surf that waves. Stephanie shares what it was like being quarantined as the cruise director over thirty days, guiding herself and her crew through uncertainty and fear, to how's facing the uncertainty in her work as an actor and storyteller.
Stephanie's work has let her to the USA Network's "Characters Unite" diversity initiative; to the TEDxTysons stage; to Grace Community Church in Arlington, Virginia; to the University of Arizona; to Fleishman Hillard; and to Lifetime's digital-content series HER AMERICA: 50 Women, 50 States. She's have shared the storytelling stage with Angela Bassett, and The New Yorker has called her work on The Moth main stage, "a representative sampling of … Moth awesomeness. The Moth is a non-profit group based in New York City dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling, which presents a wide range of theme-based storytelling events across the United States and abroad, often featuring prominent literary and cultural personalities.
