Stephen's final words were even more powerful than the remarkable sermon he had preached to the Sanhedrin. He had already signed his own death warrant by speaking so directly to their guilty consciences- but at the point of death he indirectly appeals, once more, by asking the Lord to forgive them, just as the Saviour had done on the cross. An inspiring example for every believer of Invincible Faith in God even unto death.
