In true Cydney fashion, I scrapped and re-recorded this entire episode dedicated to my people, Black people, after proclaiming during Grammys’ night that it was “Black People’s God Year.” A year where we our stepping into our individual power, pouring from our overflow, going after everything we want, and still doing the important work and having the conversations we feel called to while also getting the public recognition and celebration we have always deserved.
