Through 1 Samuel 18: 1-4 and 1 Samuel 20:1-17, we witness how God gave David friends and allies from and unexpected places. We are encouraged to affirm and reaffirm friendships like the one David had with Jonathan, in our own lives, so they can outlast the pressures and challenges we may face.
