James 2:1-12
The way we treat people, PROVES, our inward motivation and our maturity in Christ.
In this passage Pastor James is trying to show us that it is a sin to treat people transactionally. We “favor” the rich, because they can bring us something… opposite, the poor, costs us something.
It is our act of faith to treat them equally, to care for them both.

"So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law that sets you free. There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you."
Questions:
1. Make a list of 5 people. Think of real situations with each one. Did you treat them transactionally? What did you expect to receive?

3. Confess
4. Live according the freedom of the law, God has given us power through Christ, His Spirit, and His Word, to live out this mission, to Serve.
