There is One sided Forgiveness being taught today !
There is so much talk about blanket forgiveness in the church that most believers are unaware of the rules Jesus taught His deciples about forgiveness. Step one - Rebuke - step two - If the repent - step three - Forgive ! there is a lot of incomplete forgivness out there because we have ceased to follow the steps Jesus taught.Unforgiveness Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.Luke 17:4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Mark 11:25 KJVS And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.Luke 23:34 KJVS[34] Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Acts 7:60 KJVS[60] And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
James 1:3 Knowing this , that the trying of your faith worketh patience.James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
