Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, I come to You this day, not for my own needs, but for those of others who do not understand the necessity to know You. I intercede on behalf of those who have yet to find the path that leads to freedom through Christ Jesus. For individuals who have uttered the words, “I won’t do it!” or “I can’t do it!”, I humbly request that You would break down their stubborn will and open their heart to a better way.
Heavenly Father, I pray for their willingness and ability to see the darkness that surrounds them and for an understanding to emerge within their souls to where they want to follow You. Create within them, Elohim, God, Mighty Creator, a desire to be willing to answer the call and say, “I want to do it!”
Give them faith outside of themselves in the only One that can bring about change and deliverance. For it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to You must believe that You exist, O God, and that You reward those who sincerely seek You.
Even when they don’t understand the why, when and how, of it all, help them to pursue You and ask the question “How do I do it?” Lord, help them to say, “I believe! I’ll try to do it.”
Lord, once their heart has been opened and they become receptive to hearing Your voice, I will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. Let my words be that of encouragement that will lead to their cry for help and their self-confessed decision that says, “I can do it!”
Let their cry be, “I repent of my sins and turn to God, so that my sins may be wiped away. I believe, I receive, and I have been redeemed!”
For it is by believing in their heart that they are made right with You, O God, and it is by openly declaring their faith that they are saved. You have made the way easy.
Lord, help their unbelief. Give them a made up mind to get and to stay in the fight. Change is coming in their mind, heart, and soul, and within everything around them within the life you’ve given, if they will simply say, “I will do it!”
They can have SUCCESS in Christ Jesus. You are the way to life. Help them to step in to the marvelous light.
As they say, “Lord, help!” and cry in their trouble, save them from their distress. Lead them from the darkness and deepest gloom; and snap their chains. Let them praise You Lord for Your great love and for the wonderful things You have done for them.
I boldly pray this prayer for my own son and for those who need these steps to life.
This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.
