Innovative science is poised to transform glioblastoma management by offering the opportunity to enhance conventional management through the use of newer modalities, including tumor treating fields (TTFields) and efficacious systemic therapies. These novel options have been incorporated into clinical practice guidelines and are driving improved outcomes for patients with newly diagnosed and recurrent disease. The current challenge is how best to use these modalities as part of sequential and highly effective combination strategies across glioblastoma treatment settings.
