Steven Callahan's boat the Napolean Solo capsized in the Atlantic Ocean - several hundred kilometre's off the west coast of Africa.
Steve spent the next 2 and a half months in an inflatable rubber life raft at the mercy of the winds and currents, and shares what it was like facing starvation, extreme hunger, exposure and the over-whelming desire to fight for survival.
Steve's book Adrift: 76 Days Lost at Sea went on to become a New York Times best seller.
Steve also served as the primary consultant on Ang Lee's Oscar winning shipwreck movie, Life of Pi.
