With demands to make a sequel to the box office hit Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Spielberg looked to the skies again to make another movie about aliens titled Night Skies. The film wasn't made but instead lead the way to make E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Poltergeist, Gremlins, and countless other films.
