Looking at three components that make a good overseer, being faithful, watchful and wise. We will touch upon how Paul speaks about this application for the gospel in all seasons, and also to rebuke, exhort, lead, teach in all sound knowledge of God's truth as a template for trusted believers. Overall, the precious privilege that God gives to us Christians through Jesus to know more of his Mind, and be trusted to do his work is something worth committing to in a lifelong developmental fashion. How committed are we to the privileges of overseeing fellow believers entrusted to us and ensuring they are grown and lead properly by His spirit and in truth?
