Life's like Sanskrit read to a pony...
Lou Reed is the God of Rock & Roll, and his earth-shattering epic album "Magic and Loss" addresses mortality, pain, suffering, death, cancer, morphine, circumcision, and so much more, all in one effort. It is my favorite Lou Reed album, and it also happens to be the fave of Chris Connelly. Chris Connelly is no stranger to most people, he has played in Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Pigface, and various other projects that seem to have no end.
Chris and I decided to discuss this album and why it made such a dent in our lives. He covered one of the songs from the record, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2kxmuXgf0U] and we just let Lou Re ed have the respect he deserved. There is nothing pleasant or uplifting in these subjects, but wow, you just get to feel what it was all really about.
