Ali Angel is breaking into the soul scene with her self titled EP, so far the songs "Play Pretend" and now just released cover of Al Green's "I Am A Ram" are taking spotify by storm. This episode timed right for her cover to be ready for the Superbowl Tailgate parties. 

She is inspired by Prince, James Brown, and all the good stuff from the 1970s, and she is bringing it back with style. 

We talked about her being the "Splitz Kween", the anxiety of that dead time hour of the end of the week, and some toxic relationship music. (WE all need that too right?)

She has been getting plenty of play on spotify with no real catalog to back it up til now. Enjoy her music, she is a lot of fun to listen to.
